"Dallas Teague is one of those "friends" we've all had and remember fondly. Outgoing, smart, stylish and fun-loving, her unique blend of personality and professionalism helps us demonstrate the fact that Southern ladies are, in fact, put together in every way. As much at home in front of a camera as a crowd of professional meeting planners, Dallas' energetic approach to life will definitely dispel any stereotypical impressions of modern Southern women as less than qualified - or motivated.

A Mobilian (meaning born in Mobile, AL (preferably under an Azalea bush in Bienville Square), Dallas is extremely proud of her southern heritage. Her fond memories of a strong yet gentile family gave her a foundation which has given her a unique perspective. Having lived in Hawaii, California, and Eastern Europe, Dallas believes that being southern is not limited by geography, but it is a "state of mind". Anywhere you go, you can find the south.

In 1992, Dallas graduated from the University of South Alabama, with a degree in Leisure Service, concentrating in hospitality and marketing. During college she was President of Tour De Force (Goodwill Ambassadors) and was also named a Miss USS Alabama Crewmate for the U.S.S. Alabama Battleship where she traveled to promote the state. Most importantly learning the proper waving techniques.

Upon Graduation, Dallas jumped head first into the hotel industry and by age 25 was a named Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1995, she was honored with the Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award. In the mid 90's, Dallas worked for Marriott International where she earned the title Supervisor of the Year. She worked with Marriott until 1999, when she joined the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau as a National Sales Manager. She received her Certified Meeting Professional designation in July 2002 from the Convention Industry Council and was named Business Professional Women /USA's Alabama State Young Careerist for 2003-2004.

Today, Dallas works with ConferenceDirect as a National Account Director. ConferenceDirect is a worldwide provider of outsourced meeting planning solutions. The portfolio of offerings include: Site Selection/Contract Negotiation, Conference Management Services, Housing & Registration, as well as Meeting Management Technology. No longer is she limited in what service she can offer her clients.
